At Mount Vernon, we believe marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime — a beautiful gift from God that uniquely reveals the union between Christ and his church.

Who Can Have a Wedding at Mount Vernon

We host weddings for current members of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and their children and grandchildren. All couples are asked to affirm our statement of beliefs about marriage and family, and premarital counseling is required.

If you meet these qualifications and are interested in getting married at Mount Vernon, please follow the steps below.

First Steps

1. Contact our Facility Director to inquire about your desired wedding date and receive a copy of our Wedding Policy.
2. Schedule a facility tour with our Wedding Ministry Coordinator.
3. Submit your wedding application along with a 50% deposit to officially reserve your date.
