Did God Reject His People?

God has always kept a Jewish remnant, chosen by grace. God foreknew (lovingly chose) Israel out of all the nations of the earth to be his special people. Though, albeit surprisingly, relatively few Jews turned to Christ in Paul’s day, Paul wants the Romans to know God has preserved a remnant. The larger point is that God is faithful to his Word—faithful to Israel and faithful to all of God’s children.
