The Foolish King

Under Solomon’s son, Rehoboam, the kingdom split in half. Jeroboam became king of the 10 tribes known collectively as Israel. Rehoboam reigned over two tribes known as Judah. Though this passage is another test case for bad leadership; we find at the heart of it a faithful, sovereign God.
