Will You Listen?

Paul made it to Rome at last, where Christians welcomed him! He evangelizes members of the Jewish synagogue, issues a stern warning, and then spends two years boldly proclaiming the message of the kingdom of God while chained to a Roman guard. These events bring the Acts of the Apostles to an end. We leave the book well aware, however, that the heartbeat of this book is not the Apostles at all—Jesus is the one at work through his people, advancing his glorious gospel among the nations.
