We strive to be relationally connected to one another at Mount Vernon. Our desire is for each member to have meaningful, redemptive relationships. We encourage this through:
  • Membership: It begins by becoming a member. We have a new identity in Christ that demands we be identified with his people by joining a local church.
  • Gathering: Members are expected to regularly attend the Sunday morning service and one of the evening services to hear God’s word taught and participate in the life of the church.
  • 1-on-1 Discipling & Hospitality: Members are encouraged to be relationally intentional by building 1-on-1 discipling relationships to study the Bible, pray, and provide encouragement and accountability. We also want to be hospitable by welcoming others into our homes to share life together.
  • Ministry & Service: Members grow in their relationships as they use their gifts to serve together in the various ministries inside and outside the church.
